Carrie Darling Events ® is a Wedding and Event Planning Company, based in Naples, Florida. We Love the Beach and the Mountains so we are honored to plan Weddings and Events in Southwest Florida (Marco Island, Sanibel, Captiva, Naples, Fort Myers) all year and North Carolina during specific months. Our professional services consist of Complete Wedding and Event Planning, Wedding Day-Of Coordination, and Event Design. We create seamless decor proposals, done with custom-built decor pieces from our workshop that complement your style and overall aestheic. Pieces that are not only beautiful, but serve a function. If you are hosting an outdoor reception with a candy buffet, why wouldn’t you need an LED display box to add lighting for guests to view what they are scooping into those adorable take-out boxes? We welcome Weddings of any scale. We have completed intimate Weddings of 10 wedding guests under a dining canopy on the beach, and we have done wall to wall ballroom events of 300 guests or more! Our 30′ x60′ warehouse of decor products we have accumulated throughout the years likewise aids us accessorize our events. In other words, we love what we do, and revel in the point when it all comes together after a year of preparation. In offering specialized focus, we only take up 1 Wedding a weekend, with a limited number of events a year.

We are not making it up, “Darling” is our actual last name! Carrie sets the pen to paper, and Matt makes sparks fly in our workshop. Since 80% of the events we arrange are with couples planning Destination Weddings, we empathize with you– WE HAVE BEEN THERE! We arranged our own destination Wedding in 2010 in Asheville, NC. We hired a talented Day-Of Coordinator, so we could kick up our heels an indulge in every minute of our wedding day! Sidenote: Matt built a rounded, white booth for our Sweetheart Table that we had to bring up in a trailer! We are committed, spirited and dreamers at heart. We definitely like to integrate a touch of whimsy into our designs. Every wedding should be unique, which is why we like to learn more about your story too. It just might give rise to something!

Given that we have amazing SUNSETS here in Southwest Florida, the majority of our services are focused on Wedding Planning and Design. We additionally provide Special Event Planning for other occasions including Rehearsal/Welcome Parties, Bridal Showers, Baby Showers, “ Will You Marry Me Dinners“, Engagement Parties, Milestone Birthday Parties, Anniversaries, Holiday Parties and any other reason to celebrate! We also been contacted for custom built pieces for venues or specialty rentals (depending upon our event schedule). As creatives, we are open to additional styling opportunities. Merely ask!

More about Port LaBelle
Port LaBelle is a census-designated place (CDP) in Hendry and Glades counties, Florida, United States. The population was 3,530 at the 2010 census, up from 3,050 at the 2000 census.
Port LaBelle is located in northern Hendry County and extends north into Glades County. It is bordered to the west by the city of LaBelle. Florida State Road 80 runs through the northern part of the community, leading east 30 miles (48 km) to Clewiston and west through LaBelle 32 miles (51 km) to Fort Myers.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 8.2 square miles (21.2 km2), all land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 3,050 people, 879 households, and 700 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 354.0 people per square mile (136.8/km2). There were 973 housing units at an average density of 112.9/sq mi (43.6/km2). The racial makeup of the CDP was 70.33% White, 10.66% African American, 0.69% Native American, 0.66% Asian, 13.84% from other races, and 3.84% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 44.30% of the population.
There were 879 households, out of which 44.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 57.7% were married couples living together, 15.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 20.3% were non-families. 15.0% of all households were made up of individuals, and 6.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 3.20 and the average family size was 3.41.
