Lilly Pulitzer is one of the most vibrant, joyful patterns you can incorporate into a Wedding Design
I was literally jumping up and down when Monica told me she wanted to have a Lilly Pulitzer touch to her Wedding! Since it was a more intimate group of 50 guests, we sat everyone in the round for the ceremony and placed a hand painted platform in the center for the Bride and Groom to stand on. It was painted by local artist, Megan Young, and was their own custom pattern- with a distinct nod to the Lilly Pulitzer look. We rented table runners for the columns on the start of the aisle in a bright, fluorescent palm pattern and had them make matching pillows for the chair detail.
Guests were greeted with a vibrant Shoe Check, with a “Welcome to Marco Island” Welcome sign, lemon scented rolled towels, pink brushes to brush off the sand, and acrylic chairs that were labeled “Shoe Check-in” with a high heel graphic.
The dinner reception itself took place on Palms Terrace at the JW Marriott and was a casual, action-station set up so guests could make the rounds to grab some Skyline Chili, Pizzas made on site (in a pizza oven) or shake ‘em salads. Some of the couples favorite foods!
We can’t forget the sweetest detail, the dessert cabana! Featuring treats like macarons, cupcakes, Cookies, cake pops all iced in fun bright colors to match the Lilly Pulitzer vibe.
