Each space of this Wedding was themed after a different part of a Retro Florida postcard. As guests transitioned from one space to another, they were delighted with an entirely new decor vibe. Guests started at the Beach for the Wedding Ceremony, and then were guided across the street to the front lawn of the home for a retro cocktail hour,, complete with flamingo lawn ornaments, chic striped linens and a beach ball selfie wall.
Next, we guided guests behind the home to the dinner tent where they walked through a custom built Orange Trellis and found their seating assignments on small leaves attached to the oranges. The clear dinner tent was a sea of hanging rattan lanterns and oversized tropical leaf centerpieces. The menu cards were monogrammed on one side to “brand” the charger plate, but included all of the fun menu details on the flip side. Mismatched green water glasses were a fun accent against the clean white linens and bamboo chairs.
At the end of dinner, a dance group dressed in red feathers burst into the tent from either side, complete with drums. They brought in a sudden element of FUN and had all the guests stand up to follow them to the dancing tent. The 10- piece band took over and brought the energy level up to party mode.
The cake slice display table featured 3 separate tables, with custom neon lights to denote the flavors and give guests 3 options. It was a funky way to present the cake, and also made it easier to see in the dark.
Other fun details included a “Potty Stop” where a valet took guests back and forth to the restroom trailer, and Ice Cream Truck that pulled up next to the dancing tent and led ribbon wand Grand Exit to a boat on the back dock for an epic Bon Voyage!
